Vietnamese Symposium on Economics and Technology 2007 (VSET 2007) - October 13, Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan

Motivation and Objective:

“Vietnam is well-known for its disciplined, hard-working, fast-learning population. This is the country’s main asset in its drive for economic development” (Vietnam Development Report 2006: 84). Today’s Vietnam has not only shown a remarkable recovery in the wake of devastation but also sustained an impressive growth. Most obviously, good human resource holds the key to building a prosperous and inclusive society, fostering better economic performance and reflecting faster “catching-up” technological progress. We, Vietnamese young generations, are sharing the same ambition of advancing knowledge and enriching experience, in order to making our little contribution to the development of the country.

The aim of this symposium is to provide a forum for Vietnamese youths and students in Japan as well as international friends to exchange knowledge and demonstrate ideas on different aspects of economics and technology. Furthermore, this symposium also helps to bring you and us closer together, so as to create a great circle of Vietnam and friends.
